Purification of Corruption is a ritualistic performance and spell to help defeat the evils of capitalism, bigotry, hatred, and greed that pervade our city, our country, and our world. Using 100% recycled materials, a giant trash puppet was made with a dozen faces, representing the monster of corruption that is harming our society. Through spell, ritual, and collaboration of the people in the audience, the monster is defeated. We are safe once again.
Purification of Corruption was performed in a park in downtown Portland, Or for the Pavement Festival in August 2018.
