Out of the Closet: A Closeted Affair was an immersive art event held by the art collective Acid/Nap in July 2017.
Skeletons, secrets, and dirty laundry: our closets contain many strange things. Perhaps they’re the entrance to another world? Or a refuge from the complexity of our everyday reality? We seek to explore the way different spaces shape our reality, divide the public from the private, and can both limit and free us as we change and shape our spatial surroundings to create the world that we need.
For this event, urks co-produced, co-hosted, created the installation piece Memento Mori and two live performances– Metamorphosis and Titles are Stupid.
